Mike and I have engaged in many conversations that I've found intellectually stimulating. I enjoy working with him immensely. While at Strategyn he applied his knowledge of Jobs Theory and ODI to help Strategyn create its online education and certification platform, which we consider crucial to Strategyn's future success. In addition, Mike helped simplify and accelerate the use of ODI by co-creating the JTBD + ODI canvas. Mike is a constant and valuable source of insight. A great addition to the team.

Inventor of Outcome-Driven Innovation
Mike has a rare superpower as an innovator - the ability to do deep work. In both our client-facing projects and our research and development work, I saw first hand Mike's drive to quickly master hard things and to produce at an elite level. In our first client-facing work together, he quickly graduated from being an apprentice to proficiently leading an innovation engagement with a Global 500 medical company. In our recent work in launching a new service offering, Mike surfaced new, valuable options we hadn't before considered and helped us to reality test the best options to carry forward into development. Especially in the world of CRM, there is no one else I'd turn to first except for Mike for expert and professional information and advice.

Mike is able to see connections in complex systems and processes that most others miss. His breath of experience in CX is a true asset for any team or organization.

I have had a look at Michael Boysen's Masterclass. It is really very good, so good in fact, that I am adopting the jobs-to-be-done prompts for my own fuzzy front-end of innovation work.

This masterclass is not only a leading example of powering JTBD with AI, but also a leading example of how AI can completely change how you do business. Mike has spent a lot of time putting his prompts together, and getting access to his advanced thinking helped me design better prompts of my own. I can heartily recommend this course.

As to how I use the masterclass so far, I am using it to both learn more on how to practice JTBD and to try to further the jobs I have identified in my area of interest. So far the class has been great for that although I would appreciate more videos, but the blog is also such a rich source of teachings.
Product Management
I had no idea about the length and specificity of the prompt instructions. I had been trying prompts composed a few sentences and always got back generic or incomplete results.
Product Management
Getting things done quickly, these prompts can untangle dimensions we haven't thought of before. It can be a good value add if you know how to combine these with real-life data.
Service Design
I like the idea of combining the "ideal state" prompts to get to the problem-space statement with the "root cause" statements to help understand the context and the potential problems that could occur while doing the job. This could be a powerful way to use AI to get a big picture of the job, its outcomes, and its obstacles all within one project.
Researcher @ Strategyn
These are excellent examples of laser focused prompt engineering. I have quite a bit of experience in prompt engineering after intensive study and development experience, but I must say, you've taken both the depth and the thoroughness of these prompts to the next level. The quality and amount of information generated is certainly more than what I was able to achieve myself, despite repeated attempts in the same direction. Excellent work.
Marketing
I'm planning to leave my company and get back to being an entrepreneur. I don't want to build things that no one wants. To that end, I've been researching JTBD for the past year. I've been most impressed by ODI, but it's daunting. I ran across your name when reading Kalbach's Jobs to be done playbook. You appear to have real-world experience that I hope will give me a faster path to proficiency.
Entrepreneur
Definitely that much of the work and effort in processing, aggregating, and detecting qualitative and quantitative data is transferred to artificial intelligence, effectively simplifying the process and freeing the professional to creative and non-repetitive work.
